Unexplained Infertility

Unexplained Infertility

When the Doctor Said “Unexplained Infertility”

When the doctor looked at us and said the words “unexplained infertility,” our world crashed.

There was no clear reason. No obvious diagnosis. No plan neatly laid out for us to follow. Just a label that felt heavy and confusing. We left that appointment feeling lost. How could something so life changing be so undefined?

I remember sitting in the car in silence. We did not know what to do next. Should we try more tests? Should we wait? Was it something we did? Something we did not do?

That uncertainty was one of the hardest parts.

Searching for Answers

I cope by researching. So I started digging. Late nights reading medical journals. Listening to fertility podcasts. Talking to specialists. Learning about hormones, egg quality, inflammation, endocrine disruptors, stress, and how deeply connected our bodies are.

And then I started looking at my own life.

My bathroom shelf was full of scented products with ingredient lists as long as a novel. Nail polish. Perfume. Skincare. Lotions. Candles. Even the snacks in our pantry were filled with preservatives and artificial additives I could not pronounce.

The more I learned, the more I realized how many chemicals we put on our bodies and consume every single day without thinking twice.

Was that the sole cause of our infertility? I cannot say that with certainty. But what I did learn is that many of these ingredients are linked to inflammation, hormone disruption, and stress on the body. And when you are trying to conceive, your body needs balance, not overload.

Going Back to Basics

We decided to take a dual approach. Science and nature.

We did not reject medical guidance. We worked with our doctors. We tracked cycles. We ran labs. We stayed informed.

At the same time, I began eliminating what did not serve my body.

I swapped out heavily fragranced products for clean, plant based alternatives. I simplified my skincare. I stopped using nail polish with harsh chemicals. I paid attention to what we were eating and chose less processed foods. More whole ingredients. More plants. More water. Fewer additives.

I focused on reducing inflammation through diet and lifestyle. I prioritized sleep. I practiced stress reduction. I prayed. I rested. I learned to breathe again.

It was not about perfection. It was about intention.

About creating an environment in my body that felt safe and supported.

The Miracle

Then one day, it happened.

Two lines.

Our first child.

It felt like a miracle. A blessing. A moment that held both science and surrender. Medical support and lifestyle changes. Faith and research. Hope and healing.

I cannot say there was one single thing that made the difference. Fertility is complex. Every journey is different. But I know that when I reduced stress, eliminated unnecessary chemicals, and nourished my body in a more natural way, something shifted.

My body felt calmer. Less inflamed. More balanced.

And that changed everything.

The Birth of Wangi

That journey is what inspired Wangi.

I realized how many products marketed to women are filled with ingredients that do not honor our bodies. How normalized it is to use and consume things without questioning what they contain.

Wangi was born from a simple belief: we deserve better.

We deserve products made with intention. Ingredients we recognize. Formulations inspired by nature. Less processed. Less overwhelming. More aligned with how our bodies are designed to function.

Unexplained infertility taught me that sometimes the answer is not a single diagnosis. Sometimes it is an invitation to slow down. To simplify. To listen.

If you are walking through infertility right now, especially the kind with no clear answers, I see you. I know how heavy it feels. You are not broken. Your story is still being written.

For us, the combination of science, lifestyle changes, and reducing everyday chemical load helped open the door to our miracle.

And that is the heart behind Wangi.

Back to basics. Back to nature. Back to honoring the body we live in.
