2025 Shop Local Guide - Colorado Edition

More Than a Purchase: The Magic of Shopping Local in Colorado
This holiday season, we’re slowing down, choosing experiences that fill us up, moments that connect us, and gifts that carry real meaning. At the heart of it all are the incredible small shops, spas, boutiques, and florists right here in Colorado.
We often say “shop local,” but it’s about so much more than where you spend your money. It’s about the people behind the counters, the ones who pour their hearts into creating something special for our communities.
18 Local Places Worth Visiting (and Talking To)
When you stop by your favorite neighborhood store or discover a new one, take a few extra minutes to chat with the people behind it. Chances are, the owner is right there, arranging flowers, folding clothes, wrapping gifts, or helping a customer find the perfect scent.
Ask them about their story:
✨ Why they started
✨ What keeps them going
✨ What they’ve learned along the way
You’ll be amazed by the wisdom, warmth, and passion that pours out of every local founder and shop owner. Their stories are often as beautiful as the products they sell.

Conversations That Stay With You
What I love most about shopping local isn’t just the amazing products or beautiful spaces. It’s the conversations. The stories that remind you why people choose to create, even when it’s hard. The laughter that happens at checkout. The moments of connection that make you feel at home.
Some of the best life advice I’ve ever received came from these chats: from founders, florists, and shopkeepers who keep showing up with heart and hope.
So this holiday season, make time to visit your local shops, spas, and markets. Ask questions. Share stories. Let yourself be inspired by the people who make Colorado such a special place to live.
